ABOUT
Entrepreneurial Students Society (ESS)
Having been able to continuously pass all the qualifications and standards of the university for more than a decade, the Entrepreneurial Student Society (ESS) remains as the only accredited academic organization of the Department of Entrepreneurship under the College of Business Administration at the Polytechnic University of Philippines.

It was founded in the year 2006 to ensure that the students of the Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship will be given quality education and practical training. Today, this organization still shares its vision and continues its mission to promote the entrepreneurial being of its more than 400 members. Being inspired by the passion of leadership and with the vision of producing adept entrepreneurs in and outside the Philippines for the welfare of the Filipino people, the ESS ceaselessly creates various seminars, trainings, workshops, conferences, product innovation exhibits and teambuilding activities. To name some, the ESS holds their annual General Assembly wherein everyone gets to know each other and expands their networks as well as learning from its well profound speakers, the celebration of the Entrepreneurship week which encompasses different entrepreneurship-related activities, outreach program that aimed to train its chosen beneficiaries on how to cut hair, livelihood programs and a lot more to name.

Aside from the activities organized by the ESS, it also does promote attending several entrepreneurship-related events conducted by its university partners and affiliated organizations such as the Young Entrepreneurs Society Philippines, whereas ESS is affiliated and known as the YES PUP Chapter, the De La Salle YES Chapter, University of Asia and Pacific, Go Negosyo. The ESS is also connected with entrepreneurship organizations of UP, FEU, NU, CEU Makati, Mirriam College, other branches of PUP and many others. Recently, the ESS has been chosen to be one of the pioneering university delegates of the Wadhwani Foundation and now a university partner of the Kalibrr.

The students from the organization are being trained to establish their own businesses after they have completed their bachelor degree. However, many students engage in ventures as early as their first year in college. These businesses are being supported by the department by providing extended programs, courses and activities vital to the growth of the student entrepreneurs themselves. This year, the department has now established a newly built Entrepreneurial Development Incubation Center to showcase and display the products of its students.
The Entrepreneurial Student Society does not stop to where it is right now. It still continues seeking more ways to reach its visions and to effectively do its mission as an organization. The ESS still works on the expansion of its network and creating and adapting effective activities and events to promote entrepreneurial, social, cultural and intellectual growth for its members furthermore as well as to the development of its social media accounts and advertisements.
